High-level stats for week of 2025-06-03 - 2025-06-09
- Total works categorized F/F on AO3: 9862 (-227 from last week)
- Works I classified F/F: 5630 (-131 from last week) (2525 new, 3105 continued)
- 0.63% of all 895799 AO3 works I've classified F/F were updated this week

A few callouts this week:
- Game of Thrones returns after a week away. Alien Stage returns for the first time since April. Cookie Run, an RPG series with a huge array of characters who are all cookies, reaches the top 20 for the first time ever this week, on the strength of the semi-canonical Hollyberry/Eternal Sugar Cookie ship. These fandoms replace Doctor Who, Hey Duggee, and Murder Drones.
- I really appreciate questions, but I've historically been bad at answering them. I'm trying to get better! If you ask a question via tumblr inbox, reblog, or dreamwidth comment, I'll try to answer it in the next week's post. Let me know if you don't want me to credit you for the question.
- This week, an anonymous commenter asked: "how many weeks total has Supergirl charted?" As of now, the answer is 496: Supergirl entered the top 20 the week ending 2015-12-07, had an initial two week run, took a week off, and then returned on 2015-12-28 and has been in the top 20 every week since. Of those weeks, 231 (47%) have been at rank 1, and 355 (72%) have been in the top five. Bottom line: Supergirl has been an incredibly consistent F/F fandom, and, while it's not a canon I've read widely in, I think it's worth celebrating as it (I'm guessing) nears the end of of its unbroken chart streak.
- Toothpastepancake is running Sapphic Summer 2025, a short fic (100-250 word) prompt fest around F/F relationships. It runs until 2025-09-30.
